Cookie Policy
Last updated 28 August 2026
The Geronimo IoT platform uses only the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and to keep forms safe. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and nothing from third parties runs on our pages for those purposes. Because every cookie below is strictly necessary, no consent banner is shown.
Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
nightheron_multi_sessionid | Keeps you signed in between page loads. | 1 hour after you sign in, or when you close the browser or sign out, whichever comes first |
nightheron_multi_csrftoken | Protects forms from cross-site request forgery. Set when a page with a form is shown, including the sign-in page. | Up to 364 days |
nh_mfa_trust | Only if you tick “trust this device” when completing a second-factor sign-in: lets that browser skip the second factor next time. | 14 days |
messages | Carries a one-time status message (“Saved.”) to the next page. | Removed on the next page load |
The names above are the ones this deployment sets. All cookies are marked Secure (sent only over HTTPS) and HttpOnly where the browser allows, and SameSite so they are not sent with requests from other sites.
Browser storage that is not a cookie
A few preferences are kept in your browser's own storage and never sent to us. This is the complete list of keys the platform writes; “session” entries vanish when the tab closes, the others stay until you clear site data.

Network edge
Our pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which may set its own strictly necessary cookie (for example __cf_bm) to distinguish people from automated traffic. It is not used for advertising or tracking across sites.
Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser's settings. Blocking nightheron_multi_sessionid or nightheron_multi_csrftoken will stop you signing in or submitting forms; blocking nh_mfa_trust only means you enter your second factor every time.
